The new colorway for the Nike SB “Shanghai” is to show appreciation to the city’s historical culture. The SB features some designs of the traditional architecture, still found in the ‘Shikumen’ townhouses that row the inner city. The design on the tongue of the shoe is symbolizing good luck and fortune. More fine details of the inner sole is a reference to the posh Luwan District, which was renamed by the Shanghai Government in 2011. It’s an extreme limited release so stay tuned for the release in Asia.
