    “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller is a play that was written in 1953 during the heart of “The Second Red Scare,” a period of time where a Senator named Joseph McCarthy spearheaded a witch hunt to fish out communists from amongst the American citizenry, often unjustly.

    You weren’t around back then, but it’s kind of similar to having the NSA watching all your phone and internet comings and goings but with a lot more invasiveness and subtlety.
