Arguably the brightest rising star in hip-hop 2013, Chicago-born MC Chance The Rapper is mere days away from ending his “Social Experiment” tour and promoting his universally lauded mix tape “Acid Rap.”
As his first headlining tour comes to a close in California this week, Chance took it upon himself to release a short documentary detailing the Chicago leg of his tour, where he played two sold-out shows at the Riviera Theatre back in November.
Chance himself expressed his thanks and even hints at an upcoming project in this statement below:
With little budget, experience or time for preparation, the team and I put together this #SocialExperiment Tour 2013. My first Tour. 43 shows. 18 person crew. 4 piece band. 1 Tour bus. 1 raw ass RV. This video represents positivity, love, friendship, musicianship, support and a whole lot of hard work. Big thanks and a Merry Xmas to every single person that made this possible, and everyone else who supported me like crazy this year.
PS: SOCIAL EXPERIMENT COMING SOON
Check out “Social Experiment” below and keep an eye out for Chance, because this won’t be the last we’ll see of him.
