The Olympic games bring great sportsmanship, elite athletes and extraordinary feats of strength to light every four years. As we get set to witness the 2012 games in London, what better way to mark the occassion than by celebrating this year’s Olympians who are just as hot as their talents!

Lori “Lolo” Jones is a skilled athlete in the 60- and 100-meter hurdle runs. She has three NCAA titles and eleven All-American honors. In the 60-meter run, Jones is the American record holder with a time of 7.72. She will compete for the US in the Olympic games this year.

Serena Williams, who recently won her fifth Wimbledon title, will represent the U.S. on the 2012 Olympic tennis team. Between both sexes, she holds the most major titles in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles!

Candace Parker was chosen by the USA Basketball Women’s National Team Player Selection Committee to compete at the 2012 Olympics. She was chosen from 20 professional women’s basketball payers, including high0school phenom Brittney Griner to play for the U.S.

Since Alicia Sacramone first started gymnastics at the age of 8, the national champion has mastered her craft. This year she placed second on both vault and balance beam during the Olympic trials.

Track and field athelete, Sanya Richards-Ross hopes to bring Jamaica home an Olympic medal this year at the 2012 Olympic games in London. Ross is the reigning 2012 World Indoor Champion in the 400 meters event.

Indoor volleyball player, Nellie Spicer, is a member of the United States women’s national volleyball team. The UCLA scholar is a 1.75 m setter.

Olympic medalist, Natalie Coughlin, has broken and set significant records as a swimmer. She is the first woman to swim the 100-meter backstroke in under one minute.

Allyson Felix is a two-time Olympic silver medalist in the 200-meter event. She is the only woman ever to be a three-time Athletics World Championship gold medalist for that distance. She won the gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Carmelita Jeter specializes in the 100 meter run. Several stunning performances have made her the second fastest woman ever in the 100 m, beating Marion Jones.
