It’s that time of the year when you fill out your March Madness brackets and on Friday you rip them to shreds because an impossible last-minute shot took out one of your favorite teams. Every year we get one of those incredible buzzer beaters that send teams home packing (or back to school), hearts are broken and leave coaches disappointed and eliminated from the NCAA tournament. Lets take a look at some of the great moments over the years with teams getting eliminated from the tourney with one shot. What we learned is no team is safe, no matter how much time is left on the clock.

With this years field wide open, expect to see more buzzer beaters from players you never heard of and never see again.

    Christian Laettner

    When: 1992
    Against: Kentucky

Probably the greatest play in college basketball history including the regular season.  The play was ran with perfection, from the pass from Grant Hill (this guy is some how still in the NBA in 2013) the dribble and turnaround fade away from Laettner was perfect. A better play couldn’t have executed.
