Probably the most hyped freshmen in high school basket in recent time, the highlight machine known as Seventh Woods has been making the rounds with his dunks and no look passes. Just a week a highlight video of the 14-year-old hit the internet and right away he drew comparisons to another high school phenoms Lebron James. While Lebron wasn’t as hyped (probably due to the fact social media wasn’t what it is today), his junior and senior years his high school games were televised on ESPN.
With all eyes on Seventh entering his sophomore year at Hammond High School in Columbia, S.C., the high school talent has to prove to his first wasn’t a fluke. According to stats online, Seventh is listed at 6’1” and 175 pounds and is currently the point guard for the varsity team. He’s averaged 19.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.7 steals per game. At 14 he can only get better, and entering the 2016 season he could be one of the top recruits in the country.
